The Founders

Jason Blumberg

Jason is the Chief Executive Officer of Revolution Environmental LLC. In his role, Jason is principally responsible for the strategic direction of the company, the recruitment of talented, motivated members of our growing team and ensuring 100% satisfaction of all customers.

Prior to co-founding the company, Jason worked at McKinsey & Co. where he was a leader in the firm’s Climate Change Group. In this role, Jason worked with leading companies, advising them on energy efficiency, alternative energy, carbon markets and electric vehicles. Prior to joining McKinsey, Jason worked in senior roles at several leading companies where he worked to improve their strategic positioning , transform their businesses and perform complex financial transactions.

Jason holds an MBA from the Booth School at The University of Chicago where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Award of Distinction. Jason also holds a BA in Accounting from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.

James Carlin

James is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Revolution Environmental LLC. In his role, James is principally responsible for the operation and strategic growth of the company’s business units, establishing partnerships and developing additional product and service offerings that ensure a superior customer experience.

Prior to co-founding the company, James spent his entire career at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., principally in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Group, a part of the firm’s investment banking business unit, where he was an Executive Director. Here he helped companies of all kinds achieve their strategic and financial objectives and was actively involved in structuring and executing a wide variety of financings with total proceeds exceeding $100 billion.

James holds an MBA from the Booth School at The University of Chicago with a concentration in finance, economics and accounting. James also holds a BA in International Relations from the James Madison School of Public Affairs at Michigan State University.
